When can I use the Price Match Promise?

  • Before a purchase from us in store - If you want to make a claim before you've bought the product, kitchen or bathroom from a Wickes store, we'll ask you for the details of the other price you've found
  • After a purchase from us in store - If you've already bought a product, kitchen or bathroom from us in a Wickes store and then found it cheaper elsewhere, we can action our Price Match Promise and refund you the difference as long as it is within 7 days of you making your original purchase from us
  • The decision to make a Price Match Promise is completely down to the Duty Manager and his or her decision is final and non-negotiable (whether you have proof or not)
    • Price Match Promise applies only to products purchased in a Wickes store. It does not apply to products purchased online.

Where should I ask for a Price Match Promise to be applied?

  • Price Match Promise requests should be made in a Wickes store.
  • If the request is being made after your purchase, the request needs to be made in the Wickes store where the product was originally purchased
  • Whether the request is being made before or after purchase, we will ask to see proof of the other product along with its price and promotion (if applicable) available
  • Proof is in the form of a receipt, invoice or quote from a competitor

Which prices do we match?

  • We will match the price from a competitor when their store is within a 10 mile radius of the Wickes store in which you are requesting the price match to be made
  • The product needs to be in stock and available to buy in a competitor’s physical store
  • The competitor’s prices need to be publicly available to all. For us to verify these prices, they need to be currently available in the competitor's store
  • We do not consider wholesale or negotiated prices as a valid comparison
  • The competitor retailer price to be matched must include VAT
  • For specific kitchen and bathroom orders, see terms in our later section
  • Price Match Promise applies only to products purchased in a Wickes store. It does not apply to products purchased online.

Which products class as a match?

  • The price match must apply to a new, equivalent product(s) with the same specification and pack size/quantity
  • The Duty Manager's decision on what is an equivalent product, kitchen or bathroom is final

What about promotions?

  • We match all prices based on the selling price available at the point of purchase
  • We do not include the following promotions: free gifts/giveaways, online only deals, product bundles, reward based promotions or competitor promotions available through third party-websites/non public vouchers

What about our Showroom kitchens and bathrooms?

If you find a cheaper kitchen or bathroom at a competitor’s store then bring us a valid copy of the quotation and subject to the conditions above and below, we will match it:

  • We match the quoted price of a competitor’s kitchen/bathroom quote, comparing the total price of all products selected. We do not match individual items within a Showroom quote
  • The equivalent kitchen or bathroom must, in our opinion, have the same specification, style and build quality. The decision of the Duty Manager as to what is equivalent is final and non-negotiable
  • The competitor store must lie within 10 miles of the Wickes store from which you are seeking to purchase your kitchen or bathroom
  • The competitor quote must include VAT and will only be made against the selling price of the products. Free gifts/giveaways are excluded
  • The Price Match Promise is applied after all other discounts and promotions are applied
